ICT Proposers Day is around the corner (22 Jan), so I would like to provide you with an update on developments & new features of the website, and encourage you to inform your ICT constituency of what is available. The number of registered participants is steadily growing, close to 700 as of today – we hope, with your cooperation, to increase this significantly in the coming weeks. The EC has added further useful features & information on the website (http://ec.europa.eu/ictproposersday):

§         Draft programme overview, including side events soon – see summary attached (FET, ICT for participatory governance, Artemis, Idealist Evaluator Workshop)
http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/budapest_2009/programme/index_en.htm

§         Publicity material: Invitation Letter to proposers, banner logo, flyer, poster, presentation Please make use of these to invite & inform your constituency
http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/budapest_2009/publicity_material/index_en.htm

§         Expressions of Interest can be submitted for each Research Objective to hold presentations & technology demands and offers. The number of participants expressing interest in presenting project ideas is rather low, so please remind your constituency that this is the most efficient way to be visible at the event!

§         List of participants, project ideas, technology offers/demands – Browse by country, organisation You can now see who will be coming from Your Country & participating EC Staff (partial list). This feature is also useful to your Proposers, to plan whom they would like to meet.
