When: October 22 & October 23Venue: Concert & Congress Centre ‘De Doelen’, Rotterdam, the Netherlands During the summer, many companies and institutes have been busy to form consortia and to make project proposals for the very first call of the ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking. That call closed on September 3. Now it is time to ask your attention again for the next big event: The ARTEMIS Annual Event, with the very first ARTEMIS & ITEA 2 Co-summit on 22 October and the ARTEMISIA General Assembly on October 23rd.  register online before the deadline of 15 September 2008 at http://event.artemisia-association.eu/

ProgrammeThe programme on October 22 is the common-1-day Co-summit, which is the very first event that is organised together with ITEA2. Presentations during this Co-summit will include industrial and political viewpoints on the theme and the role of ARTEMISIA and ITEA 2.Parallel sessions join on practical ICT-based approaches to real challenges in society and economy. An exhibition with over 50 projects showcasing their results and achievements will be a highlight during the Co-summit.  On Thursday morning, October 23, you can participate in the ARTEMIS Focus Sessions with the following themes:

       ARTEMIS Multi Annual Strategic Plan 2009 (MASP) and Annual Working Plan

       Roles and Engagement of SMEs

       The Future of Open Device Platforms

The ARTEMISIA General Assembly will take place on Thursday 23 October in the afternoon
