This is an overview of the eligibility criteria for Norwegian participation in ENIAC consortia.

1) Type / nature of particiants:

• Enterprises (companies)
• Industry associations
• Universities and higher education institutions
• Public research institutes and similar research organisations

2) Legal / administrative / financial conditions:

• Enterprises must be established in Norway and perform RTD activities in Norway.
• General eligibility criteria and conditions for receiving project funding from the Research Council of Norway will apply (i.e. the recipient must be a registered legal entity, demonstrate financial viability, and provide transparency as to funding requested or received from other sources).

3) Consortium configuration

• At least one Norwegian enterprise or industry association must be involved as a partner in the project, and a significant share of the Norwegian involvement in the project must be from industrial partner(s).
• The industrial relevance of the participation of a research organisation must be justified by declarations from some eligible (according to criterion 2 above) Norwegian enterprise(s).

4) Conditions on exploitation / impact

• Enterprises (companies) must provide spscific information on the possible industrial impact and justify that they have the necessary means to exploit the project results.
• Universities and other research organisations must specify national industrial impact in terms of exploitation opportunities for Norwegian companies.

Årets utlysning for ENIAC Joint Technology Initiative er nå publisert. Teknologiplattformen ARTEMISIA (som står bak ARTEMIS JTI) arrangerer et Spring Event i Nürnberg, Tyskland, den 1. og 2. mars 2010.

Arrangementet - som avholdes i forbindelse med Embedded World Exhibition & Conference - er en møteplass for industri, forskere og kunnskapsmiljøene innen Embedded Systems.

ARTEMIS JU Call 2010 kommer til å bli publisert i Mars 2010. I denne forbindelse inviterer ARTEMISIA-organisasjonen til et matchmaking-arrangement, den 15. og 16. desember 2010 i Amsterdam.

 Møtet er en anledning til å få en oppdatering på ARTEMIS-arbeidsprogrammet for 2010, møte potensielle prosjektpartnere og utveksle ideer med andre søkere.

From 29 September to 1 October 2009 the first AAL FORUM will take place in the Vienna Hofburg. This kick-off event of the international conference series of the Ambient Assisted Living - Joint Programmes (AAL-JP) will serve as an information and discussion platform for stakeholders, scientists and users. The thematic priorities of the AAL FORUM 09 will be national and European AAL activities, R&D projects and economic aspects of the joint programmes, the third AAL call for proposals as well as key questions of AAL-JP

ENIAC & ARTEMIS utlysninger ble annonsert fredag 9. mai. Søknadsfrist er 3. september 2008. Totalrammen for de to nye initiativene er omkring €6 milliarder (2008-2017).

The focus of the ENIAC JTI will be industrial R&D in the 'More Moore' and More than Moore' domains, executed with a clear application focus. The ENIAC JTI will also cover design, equipment and material R&D activities. Detailed objectives of the Call are set out in the Annual Work Programme 2008.
