This Consultation meeting will bring together experts from all over Europe. Its objective is to provide strategic guidance for future research under the AAL joint Programme and possible future topics for the ICT Policy Support Programme in the field of ICT and Ageing for 2011 and beyond. The outcome will be used as input for the preparation of future calls for proposals. Participants are invited to submmit short ideas in avance (maximum 3 slides).

In view of preparation of the
Framework Program 7 for period 2011-2013, the Networked Media Systems unit organizes a consultation of all interested sector actors and a workshop on the future research priorities in the Networked Media Systems research area.
The goal of the consultation and the ensuing workshop is to define R&D challenges, addressing the networked media sector requirements and EU priorities for collaborative projects supported under the ICT priority of the Seventh Framework Programme (period 2011-2013).
Commission Communication on the 7th Framework Program .
The summary report from this workshop and consultation will contribute to the design of the future R&D work programmes in the field of networked media.
The authors of the most interesting and relevant contributions to the consultation may be invited to discuss their views at the “Networked Media Systems" consultation workshop planned for the 19 January 2010.
